Light

The Light collection is a series of original paintings about the moment a long period of loss and uncertainty gives way, when the fog lifts, the water stills, and warmth returns.

Each painting depicts the same essential landscape: deep water, heavy mountains, and a singular source of light. The darkness is not decorative. The mountains that close in are the feeling of being trapped, of seeing no way forward. The water carries the weight of fear and uncertainty. And the light, always arriving, never forced, is the thing that changes everything.

That light is different in every painting, in some it is distant and barely there, in others it floods the entire landscape. It might be a person, a moment of clarity, a belief, or something felt but never fully understood. The collection does not tell you what your light is. It only insists that it exists.
